This project is a personal book cover design for The Lord of the Rings, created as an exploration of my long-standing desire to design the cover of a book that shaped my imagination from childhood.Rather than approaching it as a commercial assignment, I treated the project as a conceptual exercise, focusing on atmosphere, symbolism, and emotional memory. The goal was to translate what the story feels like rather than illustrating a specific scene, allowing the cover to evoke nostalgia, myth, and quiet grandeur.The process involved researching visual interpretations of the world, distilling the core themes, and developing a restrained visual language that reflects both the epic scale of the story and its intimate emotional weight.
